Life Comes Forth

In every bulb 

there is the promise

 of life to unfold. 

If the seed does not fall 

into the ground to die

 it cannot bear forth fruit.

So it has been

 with the Son of man,

 He gave his life 

so that we should live. 

May we all die to self

 so that his precious love 

may come forth like the bulbs...

Light will dawn

Light shall dawn in the darkness.

The LORD will guide you continually

and satisfy your soul in drought

and strengthen your bones.

If you take away the yoke

from your midst,

the pointing finger,

and speaking wickedness.

Isaiah 58: 9b and 11 

Your Presence With Us

Your Presence
 has been with us
day and night
like a pillar of strength
day in and day out.
Your provision
 as you lead
has covered all our needs!
Thank you, Father!

A Bright New Day

We rise early

 making big efforts every day

to make ends meet.

Still it seems 

that we never get there

to that place 

where you have no debts

except to love those in your way.

There are so many bills to pay,

There is so much work to do.

Still you call us in the night

to make our future bright

as you wisper words of love:

"Keep still and wait on me,"

"I am coming,"

"I will not delay."

"Strength will rise as you

learn to trust me more and more;"

"Lay down the burdens of your heart

here at my feet

where we can daily meet."

"My presence will go with you

and I will give you rest."

Empathy

Thank you for those times

 when you show empathy!

Just listening to someone

 with a caring heart

can make a difference in their lives!

Let His Spirit Work Within

Be still and know

 that He is the Great One

who will never waver,

 doubt or fail you.

He has promised to fulfill

  the good work he has begun.

Let his Spirit work within,

 rest in his care.

His plans are perfect,

His love unfailing.

God is good,

all the time.

Welcome Home Brother...

She is expecting someone to visit

She prepares the room

with a gift on the little table.

Time and miles have not quenched love

her heart is warm with anticipation.

Her brother is coming home!!
