Trust God

The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalms 121: 5-8

When we are faced with challenges we can trust God.
He watches over us lovingly.
Much like a hen hovers over her chicks.

God hears our prayers even before we speak them. When we trust him we can feel safe.

Faith grows and so does our love for God and for our neighbour. Be thankful and continue to pray for others.

Let love find a way.
God will shine through all kinds of weather.

Sing praise to Him!

Thankful

"He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat." Psalm 147: 14

So thankful for these weeks in May. Family reunions with our children and grandchildren.

Bible-study time with our ladies' group in three different homes. Bless them for this.

Special times by my hubbie who is such a commited worker. Thankful for his calling, too.

Enjoying my work at Global Garden with an amazing colleague. We pray every morning for our students and their families.

And this last week we hosted a very special couple who came to help with the construction of a sixth wagon for water supply in Chaco.

"God is the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last" Revelations 22:13

Thank you LORD for giving us stability in uncertain times. We trust you more and more each passing day!

Goodness of God

God is training us in steadfastness.

We must not be afraid of evil tidings; we are trusting the LORD.

As we seek His Kingdom first all things will be added...

Peace of God

..."and the peace of God
which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts & minds
through Christ Jesus."

..."For our citizenship is
in heaven, from which we
also await for our Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ"...

So stand firm in the Lord:

~Rejoice in the Lord always;
~Let your gentleness be known
~The Lord is at hand
~Be anxious for nothing!

He Does Great Things

So thankful for times with cousins, sisters, grannies and grandchildren!

God loves families and wants to bless us for a thousand generations!

'For He who has done great things for me..' Mary expressed herself in song to give the LORD her gratitude.

Worship is expressing our love and gratitude to the author of life and the giver of all that is good.

We can also express our worship to God by..

~ Spending time in his Word in prayer and trust

~ Giving gifts of love, service, tithes and special donations

~ Hoping in faith for the future to hold God's blessings with great expectation of what He will do

~ Sharing his love..

~ Praising Him on our own and with others!!

He has done great things and will continue to do so..

Enjoy his every blessing in the year to come!

Firm in Faith

You who are younger,

 be subject to the elders.

 Clothe yourselves,

all of you, with humility

toward one another,

for “God opposes

the proud but gives grace

 to the humble.”

 Humble yourselves,

therefore, under the mighty hand of God

so that at the proper time

he may exalt you,

 casting all your anxieties

 on him, because

 he cares for you.

 Be sober-minded;

 be watchful.

Your adversary the devil

 prowls around like

 a roaring lion,

seeking someone to devour. Resist him,

firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds

of suffering are being experienced by

 your brotherhood

throughout the world.

 And after you have

 suffered a little while,

the God of all grace,

who has called you

to his eternal glory

 in Christ,

will himself restore,

 confirm, strengthen,

 and establish you.

 To him be the dominion

 forever and ever.

Amen.

Love & Obey

Love the LORD

your God

Obey his voice

Cling to Him

for He is

your life

and the length

of your days

 that you may

dwell in the land

which the LORD

swore to your fathers,

to Abraham,

to Isaac,

to Jacob,

to give to them.

Deuteronomy 30:20
